Data protection & information security
Data security in Secure Password Share
The high level of information security is the main feature of doubleSlash Secure Password Share. End-to-end encryption, which takes place exclusively in the browser, ensures that the private key used never reaches our SPS servers. This means that not even SPS itself has access to the encrypted passwords. Once displayed, passwords are irrevocably deleted, which further increases security. The Enterprise version offers maximum data sovereignty through installation in the company's own tenant, allowing companies to retain complete control over their data. Access to the links and their content can be restricted to people within the organization, preventing access from outside. These measures guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
- GDPR-compliant
- End-to-end encryption locally in the browser
- No storage of the secrets entered
- 2-factor authentication
- Maximum data sovereignty with the Enterprise version

Information security in Microsoft Azure
Microsoft continuously invests in security measures and, with the EU Data Boundary, offers additional options for storing and processing data exclusively within the EU.
Data protection measures
Azure uses end-to-end encryption and allows customers to store their data in one of many global data centers, including in the EU. This ensures data residency and minimizes cross-border data transfers, which is particularly important for GDPR compliance.
GDPR compliance
Microsoft Azure is designed to support companies in complying with the GDPR. The platform offers tools and documentation that help to carry out data protection impact assessments and monitor compliance with data protection guidelines. Microsoft ensures that data processing is transparent and has contractual arrangements in place to strictly control access to data.
Certifications
Azure is certified according to internationally recognized standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, which confirms the high security and data protection standards. These certifications are proof that Microsoft adheres to strict security protocols and is regularly audited by independent auditors.
